Drop on recall: While your dog is running towards you, you
give the command, and your dog immediately drops to the
down stay position, until he receives another command.
Stand in motion: While you keep walking, you give the
command. Your dog stops and remains standing, as you
continue to walk.
Stand for exam: The stand for exam is done out of the
moving stand in motion, or the stand command.
AKC/UKC Obedience Events:
We will teach your dog everything needed to complete
either the AKC/UKC Novice or Open event. We are also able
to handle your dog during competition events, and title your
dog for you.
AKC Canine Good Citizen Program:
The Canine Good Citizen Test is a certification program that
tests dogs in simulated everyday situations in a relaxed
atmosphere. It identifies and rewards dogs that have the
training and demeanor to be reliable family members as well
as good-standing community members. All dogs passing the
Canine Good Citizen Test receive a certificate from the
American Kennel Club. A CGC award is usually a perquisite
for any service or protection programs. There are many
additional benefits to your dog having a CGC.
